Olivia Hall is a documentary filmmaker, writer, and visual storyteller based in Birmingham, Alabama.
Olivia is a storyteller passionate about creating engaging, multimodal narratives for diverse audiences. Living in the heart of “America’s Amazon,” Olivia’s work is deeply rooted in the environment. She is especially drawn to exploring the relationships between people and their environments, delving into how individuals and communities perceive, interact with, and are shaped by the natural world.
Olivia’s work has been featured in the Sidewalk Film Festival, Red Dirt Film Festival, Through Women’s Eyes International Film Festival, and Moss Farm in Montreal.
Olivia graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2024 with a BA in Professional Writing and Public Discourse and a minor in Media Studies.
